Reminder of the Sea

The sea is a vast waterform overflowing with adventures and mysteries. Which is also a lovely scenery.

A poem I made to appreciate someone I cherish.

I title you the sea

Your hair made of single strands of waves

Silver lining in your hair like sea foam

Crashing on your beachy skin

As beige as the sand

Your voice just the right type of coarse and rough

Your skin having such smooth, soothing touch

It feels warm; my hands sinking in deeper

Intertwined with yours

I'm sinking deeper in this love

I swirl, twirl, whirl in this pool

I dip my toe in this warm water

Let it rinse it of my sin

Cleanse me from pain

Your mind as clear as the ocean

Endlessly open, open alike you heart

Dangerously deep, deep as your understanding

Such vibrant indigo, as vibrant as your personality

Similar to the sea is the proof:

Life in darkness won't end; will thrive, will survive

Be my source: my home, my supply

Carry a diversity: decorated in life, in variety

Be my currency: take me, take all of us onwards

Come and go; arrive and leave

But never completely as you will always leave a gift

I call it "silly sea shell surprises"

Washed up on my shores

Wash, wush, woosh the tides

Salty winds from sea to land

Sweet songs swinging from ocean to ocean

Calming clams charming serenades

Tell me story, read me to sleep

As I gaze upon the reflection

Only a mirror of the most natural, stunning beauty

I swim and swim in all this lust

But cannot drown in this love

I title you the sea, my O' beautiful sea ```
